Sam joined Item Company in July 1952 as a BARman.
He remembers Barney and Southlon.
He can't remember the hills he fought on but does remember that he fought to straighten the lines many times.

When he ws rotated out, he left a lot of good friends behind.

Had a lot of proud moments.

When a good friend was killed..

Was in the Marines for 5 years and was a SSgt when discharged.
